Pub & Grill - Greene King
Portfolio of 6 schemes completed on a new trial brand. The schemes were completed within an extremely tight timescale from drawing board concept through to completion on site within weeks. All schemes were delivered on time and within budget. Feedback from both operators and the public has been very positive.
Cookhouse & Pub - Whitbread
We successfully completed 6 trial sites of a new concept brand in 2018. The scheme includes a trial front of house theatre kitchen, to give guests a view of the fresh ingredients and freshly prepared meals. The scheme comprises high quality internal finishes, significant areas of hard floor finishes and joinery works.
Bluebird at Samlesbury - JW Lees
Major upgrade and refurbishment of pub and hotel following acquisition by independent regional brewer, JW Lees. The scheme involved a major restaurant refurbishment with significant structural alterations, alongside refurbishment of the adjoining 20 bed hotel. The project was handed over on time and on budget.
New Era Square - NES Developments
EWH were appointed as Quantity Surveyors and Employer's Agent for the £40m Phase 1, now complete, and £30m Phase 2 due for completion early 2020. The development comprises retail, commercial and 620 student beds and private apartments. The central plaza is designed for outdoor events and includes shops, restaurants and outdoor cafe seating, with a prominent high rise tower.
Maple Leaf, Sports Bar, Covent Garden - Greene King
Full refurbishment and fit out of a Canadian themed Sports Bar in Central London. Working in a restricted access zone in the City presented one of the key challenges to the successful delivery of the project. The development has proven extremely successful and a great location for a wide variety of sports viewing in the City.
Potting Shed & Firepit, Halifax - Potting Shed Trading Ltd
EWH are currently acting for funders on a scheme which ran into problems on site with the contractors going into liquidation. The scheme was reviewed and elements of essential works permitted to continu, under the management of EWH, to allow the building to be made wind / water-tight. The remaining works were tendered and a new contractor selected to complete the development.
